NEW MILFORD, CONN. – A local dispatcher says firefighters believe a propane leak was what sparked an explosion at a New Milford, Connecticut business that injured one person.

Local authorities reported the fire broke out inside a small business at 637 Kent Road. It occured just before 8 a.m. in Gaylordsville.
All firefighters from the New Milford fire department were on the scene, as well as, mutual aid firefighters from Sherman and the New Milford police.
The victim is believed to have been the only person inside the building at the time of the explosion.
